Dwilette (Dee) Pride , owner and operator of Pride Designs, uses beautiful creativity and flair to transform  your event vision into reality, while exceeding your expectations.  Dee believes that the presentation of your event is as equally important as the event itself.  This philosophy has served as the foundation of her design experience, which began as a child and student protégé of  her mother, Allie, who was an Interior Design student in college. Dee observed and practiced design techniques taught to her at an early age by her mother that garnered the attention and awe of many in their community. She considers this early exposure to the craft as the base of her education in event and interior design. Her work was recognized, even as a child, through community awards she received for her décor creations.

Dee’s love for design would be a dream deferred as she completed her college career at Mississippi State University, earning a B.A. Degree.  However, after entering the workforce and subsequently having her position downsized, she turned to her love of design to regain fulfillment.  In 2004, she launched Pride Designs.   As a result, Dee has built a large portfolio  of residential and commercial clients, designing for them grand events including weddings, galas, special occasion affairs and home remodels. You can also find some of her interior design nuggets in Jewelry For Your Home in Southaven, MS.

Dwilette credits her faith as being the driving force behind the success of Pride Designs and is striving to have a business presence internationally.  In 2013, her company’s designs were featured in the 2013 Summer/Fall edition of Southern Bride Magazine as well as the 2014 Winter/Spring edition.  Pride Designs was also blogged in Beautiful Bride Magazine in recognition of an eye-catching table design that was unveiled at a bridal show in Atlanta, GA. The Knot Magazine has also listed Pride Designs in their on-line directory as a featured event sylist for intended brides. Features of work from the company are also beautifully displayed in Jewelry For Your Home in Southaven, MS.

She feels fortunate and blessed to have met and be inspired by  some of the top celebrity event designers and planners in the industry such as Preston Bailey, David Tutera and Monte Durham. Her professional goal is to someday be associated with such leaders in the industry.
