Drupal

Drupal has become a well rounded content management system. It is a community support environment that costs nothing to install and has many uses for a business owner. Among its strengths are ease of adding content and searching of the site for given keywords. Its disadvantages include not being Web 2.0 compatible which means that your Drupal site many or may not appear the same depending on the browser that the user is viewing your site with. Additionally, there are not alot of template available for Drupal which means that a significant amount of time is needed to get your site to display in an attractive manner.

Wordpress

Wordpress has become the defacto standard for people who are looking to develop a Blog centric site. It is very easy to add Blog entries and is Web 2.0 compatible. Unfortunately it does not handle video files efrfectively as well as having alimited support for custom interfaces. While there is a "FREE" offering, advanced features require signing up for a monthly subscription.
